5-day training session organized by the Somali Peace Line held in Abudwak. The training took place from April 14th to April 18th and was conducted as part of the Youth in the Lead: Arts and Culture for Inclusive Social Change project. The primary objective of this comprehensive training program was to prepare a group of 30 talented and enthusiastic young men and women to serve as SD (Social Dialogue) moderators. These moderators will play a vital role in facilitating constructive discussions among a diverse group of 150 participants.

 

Throughout the training, participants were exposed to a wide range of topics designed to equip them with the essential skills and knowledge required for their role. These included in-depth instruction on SD methodology, moderation skills, conflict management, and leadership development.

 

Overall, this training program was designed to empower young men and women to serve as SD moderators, contributing to the Youth in the Lead: Arts and Culture for Inclusive Social Change project. By equipping them with the necessary skills in SD methodology, moderation, conflict management, and leadership, the training aimed to enhance their ability to facilitate meaningful dialogues and drive inclusive social change.
