Children’s Club training and practical sessions in Hiran Region.

Children’s Club training and practical sessions in Hiran Region.

Under the NORAD Project, Somali Peace Line (SPL), in partnership with Save the Children, conducted Children’s Club training and practical sessions in Bergadid, Jawiil, Beledweyn, and Mataban in the Hiran Region.
The activity aimed to strengthen children’s understanding of positive and respectful interactions while promoting safe environments free from bullying and violence. The training provided children with practical knowledge and skills on communication, empathy, mutual respect, and peaceful conflict resolution.
Through participatory discussions and group activities, children explored ways to build healthy relationships and support one another within their schools and communities. The Children’s Clubs served as a platform for young participants to actively engage in discussions about child protection and the importance of creating inclusive spaces where every child feels valued and respected.
This initiative reflects SPL’s continued commitment to promoting child well-being, protection, and participation. By empowering children with the tools to prevent bullying and violence, the project contributes to fostering safer, more supportive communities across the Hiran Region.
