Somali Peace Line conducted a three-day Deliver training session to enhance the capacity of selected women’s and girls’ rights groups. The training aimed to empower these groups to advocate for the adoption of gender equality laws and to ensure governments are held accountable for upholding existing laws and commitments, all under the auspices of the #CHANGE2 project.
The primary objective of the training was to cultivate a sense of agency among participants, enabling them to spearhead substantial advancements in promoting women’s rights and fostering a more equitable society. Additionally, the training sought to bolster the advocacy efforts of women’s and girls’ rights groups in promoting gender equality laws and government transparency.
