Safe Steps Project: Essential Supplies Distributed to Vulnerable Communities.

Safe Steps Project: Essential Supplies Distributed to Vulnerable Communities.

Under the Safe Steps Project, Somali Peace Line (SPL) provided essential supplies to communities in Doxo Mudug, Bulaley Village, and Deegan IDP. A total of 210 individuals, with a focus on women and girls, received important kits designed to improve their well-being. These kits included:

Psychosocial Support (PSS) Kits to address mental health and emotional needs
Dignity Kits with hygiene items for women and girls
Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Kits to support menstrual health
The immediate outcome of this activity was the successful distribution of protection and dignity items to 210 women and girls in the communities of Doxo Mudug, Bulaley Village, and Deegan IDP. This initiative specifically supported survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) and young girls in need.

Beneficiaries received vital PSS kits to support their mental and emotional well-being, dignity kits with hygiene essentials, and MHM kits to ensure proper menstrual health. Through this effort, we provided immediate relief to some of the most vulnerable individuals, helping restore dignity and promote well-being for those in need.
