SnaP Project activities was carried out by Beletweyne and Adado districts in Hiran and Galgadud region respectively on January 2019 aimed enhancement of communities, local administration and religious leader to stop on traditional harmful practices for women and girls.

Hawa Yabarow, child protection focal point, met a 16 year old young girl looking for somewhere to sleep in Sigale. The young girl was from Merca district, in Lower Shabelle region. Her parents married her off to a 45year-old man when she was 15 years old but she refused to marry the man

Somali peace line (SPL) and Life & Peace Institute (LPI) have jointly organized a training workshop on negotiation for almost twenty three people from elders, Imam, SWCC, SPL staff and LPI staff at Mukono, Uganda from 23-29 November 2012.

SPL has completed the project of strengthening the role of youth organizations in peace building project in partnership with Oxfam Novib.
The project was one year pilot project that has started in Mogadishu from July, 2010 up to June, 2011.
